The US is running massive account deficits, and considering that the GOP idea of "saving" Social Security is to spend another $2 trillion in deficit spending - is a big friggin telegraph to the rest of the world that our fiscal house isn't going to get straightened out anytime soon.Ask not for whom the bell tolls, for it tolls for thee...
